Follicular Unit Extraction or FUE is one of the best and newest hair transplant methods. International approval by the FDA and American dermatologists made this method one of the most common methods in the world. The method is known as simple pocket extraction in the world.
The FUE hair transplant method can be a great choice for most people with thinning scalp. And in most cases, when the fineness is extreme, dermatologists recommend the SUPER FUE method for hair transplantation.
Most clinics have the equipment for the FUE procedure. This allowed anyone with an FUE hair transplant to do so in this country. Due to the availability of experienced surgeons and the low cost of medical treatment, many patients travel to this country to undergo a type of cosmetic surgery.
After a hair transplant, many of my patients want to go back to exercise, go back to the gym, and go back to weights. When is it safe?
During the first week after surgery, the main problems with exercise are preventing sudden changes in blood pressure that could affect the implants. During the second week, the main issue is the tension and stress in the donor area that could affect the healing of the donor area.
FULL UNIT EXTRACTION SURGERY (FUE)
For patients undergoing follicular extraction (FUE) procedures, I advise you to return to light cardiovascular activity on day 8 and light weights on day 11. Heavy weights on day 14
FOLLICULAR UNIT STRIP SURGERY (FUSS)
For patients Follicular Unit Strip Surgery (FUSS), I advise you to return to light cardiovascular activity on day 12 and light weights on day 15. Heavy weights on day 21. The main problem with FUSS procedures is proper treatment.
Exercise should not be done in the first week after hair transplantation. Sudden changes in blood pressure can negatively affect implants. In the second week, exercise is also not recommended as it may affect the tension and stress in the donor area. In the FUT method, exercise and fitness can be done after this date. In the FUE method, patients can start all exercises 6-7 days after the end of the treatment.
What are the benefits of FUE hair transplant?
You do not need complete anesthesia to perform the FUE hair transplant method.
This procedure has very few side effects and can give you the best results.
In the FUT method, there are risks such as scars, flesh wounds, prolonged numbness of the skin and permanent pain in the area of the hair bank. The probability of these side effects occurring in the FUE method is approximately zero.
There are no restrictions on the FUE method, such as the FUT method, which prevents strenuous exercise.
The recovery time is very short and leaves no marks.
The appearance of the hair will not change over time and the hair will look natural.
Suitable for people with stiff scalp
The hair growth line is completely normal and will grow well.
Fine hair can be removed from the hair bank: In the FUT method, the surgeon should only use the hair on the skin. These hairs are usually thick and have many roots, so it is a bit difficult to naturalize and beautify the growth line that has thinner hair. We do not have this limitation on the FUE method.
This natural hair transplant method has great results, with most people expressing satisfaction after the procedure.
How are hairs transplanted?
After the procedure, patients leave our office without a bandage, if they wish, wearing a baseball cap, with most returning to work and more frequent activities two to three days later, although at our discretion our patients may they want to get five to seven days out of the public eye. With FUE, patients are usually available the next day. The repetition of the full exercise is allowed on the sixth day. The transplanted hairs usually fall out in two weeks, leaving the patient looking almost unchanged before the surgery and then starting to regenerate four months later.
Occasionally patients will return a year or two later for further replenishment to achieve greater density or a wider coverage area, but in others a subsequent procedure is performed only years later if there was more hair loss. Because, in most cases, hair loss is progressive for the rest of a person’s life, our patients are consulted for preventative treatments that may include laser light, finsteride and or oral or topical minoxidil, plasma PRP) and other treatments.
Our patients tend to be well informed before choosing a surgeon. By consulting with us, you can be sure that you will learn about all treatment options, in a professional, confidential environment. Confidence comes from our commitment to achieve the best results. Hair transplant prices
Hair transplant rates can vary dramatically. One patient may require less than 1,000 transplants, while another may require more than 4,000 transplants in two or more sessions. Without personal consultation with this patient, the prices for hair restoration can be misleading.
Hair restoration and transplant results
There is a short break after hair transplant surgery. Most patients can return to work and other normal activities within one to two days and exercise can be resumed on the sixth day. The tiny crusts are in place of each graft that falls from seven to eight days. Transplanted hairs usually fall out in two to three weeks and then start growing again in four months. As the hair continues to grow, it will gradually become thicker and longer. Depending on the patient’s goals, a second procedure is occasionally required to achieve greater coverage, which can only take place 10 months later.
