Hair Cloning

Hair cloning is a unique application consisting of combinations of various substances based on the intercellular connection, specially developed for all types of hair problems.

We can summarize medical cloning as the replication of genes, cells or living tissues by specific methods. However, cloning has nothing to do with hair cloning. There are no barriers to use in the treatment of diseases or to develop them for aesthetic applications. Prohibited aspects are only one-to-one copy of a living thing or human being. Hair cloning is a kind of hair transplantation method which is specially developed for the hair follicle and enables hair regrowth.

Although you may think hair cloning is illegal, the procedure is purely medical and requires medical knowledge. The hair specialists developed hair cloning method working together with genetic and tissue engineers and medical doctors.

What is hair cloning

Although most of us know as hair cloning, follicular proliferation is an exact term for this application. A single punch(biopsy) is performed by culturing and cloning the hair follicle from the donor area of the subject in a laboratory environment. Since it is necessary to have a laboratory setting to reproduce hair follicles, the cloning process is not effective, in terms of cost and aesthetic.

Hair Cloning is similar to stem cell treatment in terms of basic principles, but it differs in some aspects. In stem cell treatment, specialists take the hair follicle, enlarge it in an artificial environment, and put it in the scalp again. However, hair cloning is the reproduction of a healthy follicle. After a while, the hair roots and scalp begin to grow new hair.

The future of hair cloning

After reading the first chapter, you should be asking questions like ‘when will hair cloning be available’. Unfortunately, it won’t be available this year. It is not possible to apply the cloning process for the hair in a medical sense today. Scientists who say that it is possible to see hair cloning in 2020. However, they cannot give a definite date on this subject. On the other hand, as cloning continues to be an ethical issue in general, it is not yet clear where the outcome will be.

It would be best if you do outstanding research on the centres or hospitals that claim to do hair cloning. Because although scientific studies on hair cloning have not reached the final point, there are centres where you can receive similar applications.

The cost of hair cloning

It is not easy to tell how much will hair cloning cost in today’s circumstances because hair cloning is a costly application. Without knowing when and in what form the stem cell hair cloning treatment option will become legal, it is impossible to say how much the procedure will cost. Tens of thousands of euros are at the table when it comes to actual hair cloning in a laboratory. However, with many procedures, costs may educe as techniques develop in hair transplantation.

Furthermore, it is difficult to determine what type of hair loss cloning can treat, as well as the details. With a sample of 5-10 hair follicles, thousands of hair strands are produced in the laboratory to treat hair loss. Some experts say that hair cloning mutates cells and is at risk of developing cancer. Therefore, you shouldn’t consider hair cloning as a medical treatment as long as it contains a high risk.
