How to Grow Hair Naturally

Healthy hair grows on its own if you let it. But you can also give it a significant push forward, so it grows right. Hair grows great with some natural products. No need to go over to the beauty shop this time. You likely already have all you need at hand within your home. Follow these simple tips on how to grow hair naturally.

Massage the Scalp

Massaging any part of your body gets the blood rushing there at increased speeds due to your system reacting to the pressure applied. Your scalp is no exception. What makes blood circulation particularly important to the scalp is the fact that it nourishes the hair follicle. The blood flow supplies both vitamins and proteins essential for hair growth.

To do this, place your fingertips across your scalp. Start massaging every inch of it by moving them in circular motions while applying pressure. Do this for 15 to 20 minutes every day. For an added bonus, use the inversion technique.

Simply sit and lean your upper body forward and down until your heart is over your head. This sends even more blood rushing to the scalp while you massage it. Some even more challenging yoga poses do this as well.

Essential Oils

These extracts from plants carry some nutrients that your hair finds soothing and boosting hair growth. There are several of them, for which your scalp would be grateful. Rosemary, lavender, peppermint, cedarwood, and lemongrass oils are the best out of the lot.

You can combine essential oils with your head massage regime to reap the benefits of both with one fell swoop. Try it and watch your hair grow faster.

Apply a DIY Hair Mask

Wouldn’t you know, you can make a very decent hair mask by using simple stuff that you can find around the house. Grab an egg, some honey, some yoghurt, and a bowl. Crack the egg open and pour it into the bowl. Add a tablespoon of honey and then a tablespoon of yoghurt. Stir.

Pour it on your hands and apply it to your hair after the shower, then let it sit for 20 to 30 minutes before rinsing. It will do wonders for the moisture of your hair. Only apply it two times a week max.

Have a Healthy Diet

Make sure your diet is rich in protein and vitamins A, B, C, and E. In addition, make sure to have plenty of iron and zinc. All these minerals make your hair healthy. Here are some sources from which to get them.

  • Proteins: fish, dairy, lean meats
  • A vitamins: carrots, potatoes, kale
  • B vitamins: meat, egg, salmon, nuts
  • C vitamins: citrus fruits, broccoli, cauliflower
  • Vitamin E: nuts, seeds, spinach, and broccoli
  • Iron: spinach, broccoli, beans, seeds
  • Zinc: meats, shellfish, dairy, eggs

Always include plenty of these in your meals.

Apply Juices

Lemon juice has the ability to nourish the hair and promote its growth when applied directly. Apply and let it sit for around 15 minutes, and that’s it. You can do this daily. Also, onion juice also has the same hair-growth-stimulating properties; you just have to put up with its smell.

All these tips teach how you can grow your hair naturally. By applying them, you can supercharge your hair growth in a natural, healthy way.
