Kevin Clifton Hair Transplant

The professional dancer Kevin Clifton has been fascinating us with his original moves for years already. Starting as a choreographer for the BBC’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, Kevin’s talents were soon noted, making him a regular.

It was not after five years of partnering with a variety of celebrities in Strictly Come Dancing that he finally won. In 2018, Kevin Clifton succeeded in taking the crown home with his then dancing partner, presenter Stacey Dooley.

Yes, Kevin Clifton definitely knows how to move his feet gracefully on the dancefloor. But can he dance his way out of a receding hairline? Probably not, but he, apparently, found another way out.

Hair: Before and After

For much of his public life, Kevin Clifton had shown a receding hairline that lets his forehead uncovered and shining bright.

It was not until March 2017 that Kevin Clifton’s hair drew attention. During a broadcast of the ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ spin-off show, ‘It Takes Two’, Kevin Clifton sport a voluminous, swept aside hairdo.

It was a massive departure from his usual hair, and it sent social media speculation wild about a possible Kevin Clifton hair transplant. Some commenters humorously called him out for attempting to copy president Donald Trump’s hair antics.

Kevin Clifton Hair Transplant: Has He Had One?

So, did the Kevin Clifton hair transplant actually take place?

He has never admitted one way or the other.

Still, it does not even appear necessary to do so, since his hairline lately looks just like before.

Most recent pictures give little doubt that the look of his hairline during the so talked about ‘It Takes Two show’ was just hair product’s tricks. In them, Kevin Clifton’s hair sports the same familiar receding hairline that reaches so high on his forehead.

So, no, the Kevin Clifton hair transplant never happened, but that doesn’t mean it won’t.

The thickness of his hair at the sides of his scalp makes him a viable candidate for a Follicular Unit Excision (FUE) hair transplant procedure.

Kevin might want to think twice before postponing it longer since further thinning might dwindle his chances.

Hair Loss in Men

The passing of the years makes the hair on the head of a man become thinner and thinner, but it is not the only factor.

The genetic makeup of each individual man plays a great role. Some particular genes are making some men sensitive to the hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT).

The hormone DHT binds itself to hormone receptors located in our hair follicles. Once there, it causes the hair follicles to shrink progressively until they grow no more. Thus, causing male pattern baldness.

Hair Transplant, A Permanent Solution

To face head-on the effects male pattern baldness has on a man’s appearance, science came up with the hair transplant surgery.

Modern techniques such as FUE allow natural-looking results that follow the growth pattern of your hair. With an FUE transplant, people will second guess before speculating if you ever had a hair transplant.
