Natural Hair Vitamins

Permanent hair loss is something that people have a hard time coming to terms with. It also does not help that modern commercialism aggressively promotes products that say their natural hair vitamins will help them out.

It is important for people suffering from hair loss to understand this: While vitamins can help the hair grow, it will not reverse permanent hair loss due to it not tackling its cause.

Cause of Permanent Hair Loss

Baldness is actually genetic, determined by our genes. Hence, it’s something that no product filled with natural hair vitamins can ever hope to reverse.

Some genes we inherit make us more sensitive to dihydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT is a hormone that is a byproduct of testosterone, the male hormone. When DHT is formed, it binds with hormone receptors in the hair follicles in your scalp and causes them to shrink.

The shrinking occurs progressively and can be observed because it makes your hair thinner over time. It eventually makes the hair follicle cease to grow permanently. This is the cause of male pattern baldness, and no amount of natural hair vitamins will make a shrunken hair follicle grow again.

The Problem with Natural Hair Vitamins

Vitamin B, along with vitamin A, vitamin C, and vitamin E do help your hair look great. The problem with buying supplements with these is that you are likely to be already taking healthy doses of them.

The aforementioned vitamins can be found in many common foods that are likely part of your diet already, making it almost pointless to add supplements to it.

If you happen to be iron-deficient, zinc-deficient, or similar, then yes, the supplements will help you greatly. Meanwhile, the following are the foods that contain all those natural hair vitamins:

  • A vitamins: carrots, sweet potatoes, spinach, kale
  • B vitamins: meat, seafood, eggs, milk, poultry
  • C vitamins: papaya, citrus fruits, strawberries, broccoli, kale
  • E vitamins: sunflower seeds, almonds, spinach, and asparagus

Those foods will provide you with all the natural hair vitamins that you’ll need. Make sure you are eating them.

Hair Transplant, the Best Solution

We already know that natural hair vitamins will not help permanent hair loss patients regain their looks, but what will?

Cosmetic surgery answered that question long ago in the form of a hair transplant procedure.

In the past, hair transplants had a bad reputation thanks to the unnatural look of the “hair plug” transplant that first came to prominence.

But that is now a thing of the past. Modern procedures have advanced much since those days.

The follicular unit excision (FUE) procedure is the latest of them. In this method, the surgeon excises healthy hair follicles from the back of your scalp. They then make microscopic incisions in the balding area into which they graft the healthy follicles.

An FUE hair transplant allows for natural-looking results that follow your hair’s natural growth pattern, allowing it to blend well. The hair from the back of your scalp is also thinning-resistant, which ensures that the results are long-lasting.
